Following the Ape's blog yesterday, it is not the Brits who are the biggest abusers. Its the Yanks who leave all their TV's on standby. Doesn't help that their fridges needs a small nuclear reactor for power either.

Nice to see further research being done into my article on power usuage by televisions the other day.
The Americans are either the biggest users of power because of their huge vehicles, air-con and consumerism, or they are leaving three billion TVs on stand-by all day.
